The western industry has never lacked rhinestone tack.
What it has lacked is originality.
Feral was created as a challenge to myself--to push beyond the expected, the safe choice, and beyond the designs that have become commonplace throughout the industry. I've never been interested in creating pieces that simply blend in with what already exists. My goal has always been to explore what happens when craftsmanship, color, and imagination are allowed to go further.
This piece was hand painted with vibrant layers and embellished one stone at a time to create movement, depth, and energy from every angle. Feral represents the direction of Betty Ice. As the industry continues to evolve, so does my work.
