As a rider and competitor, I design every piece with real performance in mind--how it wears, how it moves, and how it holds up under pressure. The artistry comes after the structure is right. That standard is non-negotiable.
Betty Ice exists for riders who are confident in who they are-bold, colorful, and unapologetically themselves both in and out of the arena.
The Foundation
I began my riding career as a barrel racer and now compete across multiple western disciplines. That evolution sharpened my understanding of how gear performs in real use, across different demands and environments.
Barrel Racing has it's stereotypes: rhinestones, bright colors, flashy, extra. Instead of distancing myself from that image, I chose to elevate it. Betty Ice was born from owning that identity and refining it into something intentional, artistic, and performance-driven.
Art Meets Execution
Art has always been at the core of who I am. I grew up immersed in creative work, was accepted into advanced art programs, and attended college on an art scholarship. Long before Betty Ice existed, I was studying color, pattern, balance, and composition.
When I couldn't afford the tack I envisioned, I decided to build it myself--not as a shortcut, but as a challenge. I believed I could create something better by controlling every detail, from layout to execution.
What Started as a personal project became Betty Ice: a brand created to deliver high-impact artistry without sacrificing structure, durability, or standards.
The Standard
With over 19 years of customer service experience, I understand how rare it is to feel genuinely respected a client. That understanding shapes how Betty Ice operates.
Every custom order is approached with clarity, intention, and communication. Some riders come with a complete vision while others need guidance. My role is to translate ideas into cohesive designs and execute them with precision.
Every piece I create, wether tack or lifestyle accessories, is functional art. Built to be used, worn, and enjoyed--not just admired.
Beyond the Workshop
When I'm not creating I'm riding, training, competing, or spending time with my family--who are also extremely active in sports and our community. God, family, horses, art, discipline, and community have always been constants in my life--and they continue to shape the standards behind Betty Ice.
The Goal
Betty Ice is more than tack. It's a performance-luxury lifestyle brand built on confidence, individuality, and intentional design.
The goal has never been to blend in. The goal is to build pieces that reflect the rider behind them--bold, capable, and unmistakably confident.
